What was one of your Favorite Childhood Toys?

We had the privilege to talk with some of the special guests at the Super-Con convention.
They were nice enough to share some memories of thier favorite toys from thier childhood with ToyFusion.com.
More info and quotes coming soon. ~Andrew

Creator/Host: Joel Hodgson of Mystery Science Theatre 3000.

Mr. Hodgson was very polite and took time to chat with us.
The fan reaction was amazing when it was announced that the entire cast of Mystery Science Theatre 3000
was going to appear at the Super-Con convention to celebrate 20 years of MST3K!
We asked Joel... what was one of his favorite toys as a kid?
"I really liked Major Matt Mason. It was more realistic for a space toy of its kind.
It was the first action figure, and was produced before the 12" Gi Joes at the time.
The people of JPL helped work on the toy line"~Joel Hodgson

We have met Mr. Nelson at many previous events, he has become a fan favorite.
He shared with us some of his favorite memories of toys he had growoing up.
"I was big into Gi Joe, the 12" one from the late 60's. I also enjoyed looking at the double sided Gi Joe toy catalog
that was included in the package.""Another favorite toy I had was a snowcone machine."

When we asked him if there was any toy he always wanted but never got...he replied
"I had wanted the sandbag accessory set for the Gi Joe Navy Sailor Character, but I never got it." ~C. Andrew Nelson

Actor: Richard Kiel (played "Jaws" in James Bond, and Happy Gilmore)

Mr. Kiel is one of the most biggest human beings I have ever met in person
(he is playfully crushing my head in the picture above).
His personality and aura is just as big as his stature!
He took time to chat with me for a while and shared stories of his travels to other conventions.
I asked him if he had any favorite memories of any of his childhood toys.
"I remember having a machine gun made out of wood, it was before WW2.
I also had fun playing with Yo-Yos."~Mr. Kiel

We asked him what was one of his favorite toys growing up.
"I remember having a Ferrari Toy car, it was a big red one (at least a foot long).
